POSIFLATEInflatable Seated Butterfly ValvesPosi-flate's unique butterfly valve design uses air pressure to expand the seat against the disc, providing even pressure distribution for a bubble-tight seal, every time. Because the seat makes only casual contact with the disc during valve opening and closing, there is very minimal disc impingement. This is in contrast to conventional butterfly valves where disc impingement leads to shaving of the seat, decreasing the overall performance and valve life. Substantially less torque is required to open and close the Posi-flate butterfly valve, thus a smaller actuator can be used resulting in lower overall valve cost. In fact, a Posi-flate valve life of one to three million cycles, even in extremely abrasive applications, is not uncommon. For dry solids, gases and slurry applications, the Posi-flate inflatable seated butterfly valve is unsurpassed. Standard valve sizes range from 2” (50mm) to 30” (750mm) and fit both ANSI and metric flanges. The valve can be supplied in various materials and a full line of actuators, limit switches and controls are available to suit individual applications. |

CYLKnife Gate ValvesThe CYL Knife Gate Valve is a unique, patented, low cost, bi-directional on-off valve that by design always ensures a bubble-tight shut off. The valve is available with bodies in cast iron, carbon steel or various stainless steels. PekosPekos from Spain produce a range of flanged cast steel ball valves in both ANSI and DIN designs. The range includes valves ½” to 16” ANSI 150/300lb & DIN PN16/40. ANSI 600lb valves are also available up to 8” in both full and reduced bore. Standard materials of construction are Carbon steel WCC and stainless steel CF8M in both floating ball and Trunnion mounted designs. Accreditations and approvals include Quality System LRQA ISO 9001, API 6D-Monogram, Lloyd’s Type License, PED 97/23/CE approval, ATEX, Lloyds witnessed fire-test programme to BS6755 II and TUV-TA Luft clean air. Pekos quality is also assured by successful type testing for extreme applications. These include cryogenic testing to BS 6364 (Lloyds witnessed at -196degC) and EN 161 & 264 endurance testing.
