Hastelloy® C-22®
Hastelloy® C-22® is used in severely corrosive media with high chloride and temperature applications such a buffer
solutions and API’s. It is a great alternative when superaustenitic and duplex stainless steels will not withstand
extremely aggressive media. This is because it is a nickel – chromium – molybdenum – tungsten alloy with better overall resistance to uniform and localised corrosion that any other Ni-Cr-Mo alloy like Hastelloy C-276. This alloy is recognised by the ASME BPE standards and by the FDA.
